Picked this up for the cheap on Friday . WITH a brand new set of tires and new battery (last fall). It was bought new and used as their yard cart. Owner said it had been sitting since last fall. Put jump box on it and started right up and white smoke. So i brought home charged battery. Put a bottle of HEET in the tank and fresh gas as their was less than a couple ounces of gas in it. Looked like gas was in oil...NOT MILKY..just thin and smelly. I started it today....and it did not smoke until it was warmed up,,,,could it be head gasket?? I had 4 wheelers/golf carts and own 2 MULES....but my 1st Gator. I wanted to repair and leave at my my cabin for a hunting vehicle...any suggestions on where to start. I got oil and filter at Napa yesterday and i wanted to change oil...or should i find the source of the WHITE SMOKE first??THANKS for your help!!!
