I have a 2014 RSX 850i SE with 2,352 miles. I bought it new in March 2015 and have ridden two seasons. The rear upper suspensions bushings are loose. I have put the Gator up on jack stands and have started to check the suspension. So far all the other bushings, links, tie rods, and ball joints seem tight. I will inspect the further when I disassemble the suspension. I logged into and created an account with JDParts.deere.com and researched the control arm bushings ($12.25), Locknut ($2.23), Ball joint ($31.36), and Snap ring ($3.76). Through JDParts.com, I submitted an email to my registered JD Dealer requesting Price and Availability (P&A). The dealer called me and said the parts were available to order and would take about three days. I haven't ordered them yet, because I want to disassemble the suspension to verify the parts I need. I also have the electronic shop manual for the Gator. On page 317, the manual states to inspect the suspension arm bushings and replace the suspension arm if bushings are worn. I have not found a reference in the shop manual for replacing the suspension arm bushings. Question...Has anyone replaced the suspension arm bushings instead of replacing the entire suspension arm? If so, how did you remove and install the bushings? Was a press required? I have read in the forum some discussion on after market bushings. Was anyone able to cross the JD Part # M162782 to an after market bushing? Please advise. Thanks.
