I have never been a big fan of the stock headlights and decided to add another set of LED lights to the front bumper. This is not really new, but perhaps some will find how the wiring method favorable.
Since I was willing to forego the stock headlights, I basically disconnected the connector from the back of the stock headlights, purchased an extension wire that plugs into this connector and wired them to the LED lights. This way the can be taken back to stock configuration in under 2 minutes. The stock switch now operates the LED lights while the stock headlight remain off.
Purchased the wiring extension for an H11 bulb from Amazon, but they could be sourced elsewhere. Please note only one end of the extension wire is used in this scenario.
I had the chance to test the new arrangement the other night while in the woods and was very pleased. Brighter whiter light using less current!
I have less than $30 tied up into this project including lights, wiring extensions, wire loom and shrink tubing.

LED lights: Nothing special purchased off Amazon. Elected to use Spot beam pattern as I have larger flood lights mounted on the roof. One set facing forward and the other rearward.
