Ignition Help

I just bought a 1999 4x2 Turf and am having electrical issues. I knew the starter solenoid was bad when I bought the machine and replaced it without issue yesterday. My problem now is that the start solenoid energizes the starter when the key is switched to the "run" position, instead of just the "start" spot. I checked the wire harness beneath the seats and it appears a former owner made "repairs" previously. Can someone tell me which wires control the start solenoid from the ignition switch? Seems like this should be a fairly simple fix, but I have searched unsuccessfully for an understandable wire diagram.
