So after what seems like forever I finally got the gator back. They replaced the starter solenoid and investigated the melting issue for the 40 amp voltage regulator fuse and found that it was caused by a bad ballast for the hid spot lights. I have also noted a lot quicker take off since the ecm was changed out. Now hopefully the wife and kid will stop nagging me about can we go ride now. The answer is yes go ride and give me some peace!
