I have a 2014 model 625i purchased new in late 2014. We are located in a heavy snow area so the vehicle sits idle for 3-4 months during the winter. Having just past the 12 month ownership mark I have 32 hours on the machine. I changed the oil as per the factory manual at 8 hours. Have read that stop/go short trip use is to be avoided so I often let the engine idle while clearing trails etc. I do a bit of light trailer towing (less than 500 pounds) but the machine is not subject to heavy duty extremes...other than snow and cold in the fall/late spring. I use a trickle charger during the winter down time months.
Do the more experienced members have any recommendations regarding maintenance or utilization practices for a machine that will likely average less than 50 hours annually?
Thank you
