A couple months ago I posted a thread here about getting exhaust smell in my cab area. It is a 2016 XUV 550 that I bought new in October. It is an open cab except for a windshield and fabric top. I asked if anyone else had a problem with exhaust smell coming up into the cab. Over a 100 views on the thread but only 2 answers. One person didn't believe me and the other answer was not relevant. I can't believe I'm the only one with the problem!!!!! It's seems that the exhaust is being pulled back into the cab by the suction of the gator going threw the air. I read other threads about dirt being sucked into the cab when people hauled a load of firewood in the bed, so I thought if dirt gets pulled back, so can exhaust !!!! So I thought that a back fabric "curtain" with a plexiglass window might help. I have a friend that owns a boat canvas business, so he helped pattern the cover and my wife sewed it up. It turned out much nicer than the ones you can buy (for $200 ) and it has almost stopped the problem. I say almost because on real windy days the exhaust gets blown all around and you can still get a sniff now and then. On regular non- windy days it works great !!!!! So there is some important info if anyone cares.....just thought I'd share !!!!!
