New gator order $30k late delivery

This is an email I just sent to Deere not happy.

Current owner of BOTH a John Deere zero turn and a John Deere Gator, bought both new. Was shopping for a second Gator this Fall and 4 dealers told me 2-3 weeks max for a special order. I ordered a $32,000 dollar Gator from my favorite dealer in CT on Jan 16, 2016 and was told delivery date given by Deere was March 9. Almost 2 full months after ordering. (7.5 weeks) The competition offers 2 weeks! I accepted that and waited patiently. My wife and I took the day off from work today, had our trailer hooked up and didn't sleep last night bc we were so excited. I emailed the dealer today around lunchtime and then called after, he had informed me that the delivery this morning still showed delivery for this am but had gotten no acknowledgement from Deere. Needless to say, I found out very late this afternoon that now it's not scheduled until the 1st week of April. This was from "order acknowledgement" at Deere at 500 PM ON THE DAY OF SCHEDULED DELIVERY. That's an additional 4 weeks.Your company should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves and how you do business. This machine was more than 1/4-1/3 the price of your competitions!!.I also had a group of neighbors who are interested in purchasing a side-by-side only to now inform them as well of my Deere experience. Certainly not the way to communicate and treat a repeat customer during a recession. I will more likely than not be canceling my $32,000 order and be purchasing a Can-Am by Bombardier unless John Deere jumps through hoops to rectify this. It will require a lot more than just rushing the delivery! Jamie Sewell
