I recently bought a set of bed rails for my 2016 XUV 550. They are part# BM23526. I bought them online for $114.00 which I thought was too expensive for what they were, (actually the cheapest I could find them) but I thought that they would be great for when I stack a load of firewood in the bed. I can stack higher and then run a cord or bungee across from side to side, keeping the load more stable. Well, they were junk. The angles were off and not all the holes in the brackets lined up. I had to bend the ends of both sides to get them to conform to the angles of the bed. One would think that the angles would already be correct. The one side was better than the other, but both of them needed adjustment, which was not easy to do. Also, one of the brackets that hold the rail to the bed was rotated a little and was welded on wrong. I had to do some bending to get it to set flat on the bed. Maybe I just got a bad set???? Maybe not !!! I e-mailed John Deere about the problem and suggested that they do a little better in their quality control. For the money, and even if they were not expensive, they should be a bolt on fit and not require a bunch of correction to get them to work. I did get them to fit pretty good and they are functional, but just be aware that you may encounter the same problem!!!
