I posted many months ago about a few issues I was having which have all since been resolved. Have 90 hours on my machine and have had a couple things pop up I would like others input on before I go to dealer. I plan to take it in to the dealer for a look over before my year warranty is up.
Issue 1. Machine has started to pop out of gear in reverse. I understand this is likely just a linkage adjustment and I'm confident this can be repaired easily. I am, however, a little concerned that damage could have been done by popping out of gear. This most recent time I was reversing uphill when it popped out. I didn't necessarily hear any grinding but I did hear some noise when it popped out and the machine stopped dead while
Reversing. Sounded like the driveshafts spinning down. My question is, can popping out of gear a couple times grind down the gears in my tranny or is this likely to only happen if it keeps happening over and over.
Issue 2. On occasion my gator does not high idle long enough to warm up and will idle down immediately after start and almost stall. I do turn the key and let the injectors prime completely before starting. What could cause it to high idle correctly sometimes and immediately revert to low idle other times after starting? Gator kept in garage that doesn't get below 50.
