Broke the shifter on xuv 550 s4

hey all,

I too had the problem of the shifter getting stuck. If I cut the motor off, it will shift, however, I broke the shifter casing and the handle. I have the new casing, but I can't get the bolt out that holds the shifters together. I have used copious amounts of wd 40 with no results. Is there some trick I am not using to get this bolt out?
