My 2008 620i, purchased from the original owner, had the brake/turn signal option installed. The only thing is the front turn signals were only signals, not park/turn lights.
I read here, or another forum, about fixing this. Turns out the light socket is an SAE standard, just the one used is only using 2 of the 3 pins available. I had a busted tail light laying around that had 2 of the 3 wire sockets. I spliced those on the end of the wiring harness with some waterproof butt connectors. Black to Ground, colored to Major, and Minor to an additional wire to the light switch. With a test light, I located the wire for the tail lights and tapped into that with a Scotch-lock.
