I operate a 2014 model 625i to support a tree farm and for hunting purposes. The machine has the standard 12 volt electrical outlet on the dash. I regularly have the need to operate electric drills, sawsall reciprocal saw, staple gun etc.
Question: can I use the Gator outlet with a 150 watt converter to run these types of electrical tools without doing damage to the Gator? In the past I have used a separate generator that requires a trailer, creates incredible noise and is a big PITA to work with. I was hoping I could simply use the converter to create a grounded power source and dispense with the generator altogether.
Dont know the capacity requirements in watts for those types of power tools...is this a good, bad or irrelevant idea?
Thanks in advance.
