I've had my toy for a few months now. I've loved it since day one. Today, a friend and I changed out a clutch spring to lower my engagement RPM. He bought a Ranger at the same time I got mine. Since we had to tear down so much of the machine to get to the clutch, it was wasn't hard to spot how well built these machines are. Overkill in many ways really. The Rangers are nice machines too, and they have one huge advantage for working on them-its pretty accessible. This evening I started changing all my fluids. I must say, changing the oil filter is the hardest of any ATV I've ever seen. Just freaking awful. The JD filters don't even have the slots that a filter wrench would even fit. Needless to say I was telling off the engineer that designed that!
