Hi guys,
I'm new to this forum and am new to the side by side world. I know this site is a little bias, but I'm in the market for an 860i. I've read all I could over the machine and its soon to be predecessor, the 850i. JD seems to be on the right track with these sport utility machines, but seems to be a couple/few years out to perfecting one. The truth be told there probably isn't a perfect machine, but I believe if there was a company to do so, John Deere is the company.
Anyways, I contacted my local dealer here in Oklahoma and priced an 860i sport configuration. The price the salesmen shot me was 15k. Is that a good deal? My father farmed for 30+ years with nothing but JD equipment and it never failed. That's why I'm thinking about going with an 860i. Plus, I get a 300 dollar discount through the company that employs me. What are some of you guys thoughts on the new machine? There isn't a lot of information about it, but I figured I would ask? What are some of the "dos and donts" with it? Pros and cons?
Thanks,
Newt
