I've been looking for a good tuner the my RSX, but outside of Muzzy's I haven't found anything. I'm not wild about Muzzy's tuner due to the lack of adjustability. I know the engine has a lot left in it as it is detuned so much that the exhaust gets red in just 2-4 minutes. When Aprilia uses this same exact engine in the SVR 850, it makes 76hp. With a proper tune so it runs cooler exhaust temperatures, the motor will last significantly longer.
Dynojet is interested in developing a user definable Power Commander V with timing adjustability, but they need someone to let the use their RSX for development. I return, that person will get a free PCV and have their Gator dyno tuned by their fuel injection experts. I'm in south Texas, so I can't cheaply get my gator to Dynojet. Is there anyone than can? If anyone has a 2012, they specifically said they had interest based on the email.
I'm a fabricator with CNC mills and welding equipment, so my ultimate goal is to develop a turbo kit for the RSX, but tuning is my first hurdle. If it works out, the plan would to market the turbo kits so the RSX's stay up with all newer UTV's/SxS's.
