I am new and posting for a friend because I do not own the gator. He was riding in the woods yesterday and went through some mud holes and the battery light came on. They drove it til they found a tree crossing the road where they stopped and used the winch to pull it out of the way and when they went back to start it the battery was dead. We jumped it over and drove it but if you turned the headlights on they were very dim and if you stopped the gator would die instantly. Also, it would sputter a lot if you slowed down and was not giving it fuel. As soon as we got it back home and stopped the dash panel had several lights come on. The battery light and the book with a wrench came on and as soon as we stopped it just died. After that we charged the battery using my car and checked fuses while it charged. After charging the battery back up we started it and the dash panel came on normal for a brief moment and then went out. The gator can run and drive but the digital dash panel is not working at all. Does anybody have an idea of what could have happened or have had this problem? We checked for bad connections or water in plugs but found none.
