We have a well abused 2006 HPX 4x4 at work that just keeps going....until now. The transmission is stuck in drive and will not come out. We bypassed the neutral safety switch just to keep it going for now. We had sent it to the dealer a few months ago with complaints of difficulty going in and out of gear, and they said "there was no more room for adjustment and transmission would need replaced soon". I'm contemplating buying the unit (we just bought a new 625) and fixing it for my personal use. They also said something about it having a more expensive transmission than other gators that year...not sure if there's any truth to it. I need to do my research quickly to decide if I want to attempt to purchase it.
