New 6x4 Owner - Year / Model & newbie questions

Hi,

Like others, I have been unable to find the year & model of my 6x4, suspecting 2000. PIN is W006X4X04861

Good sites for parts? Seems many sites have parts for "gators", but there are sooo many different gators, I want to be sure I use a site that lets me search for the right year / model so the parts fit! Mostly need cosmetic things now, but as I dig, I'm sure there will be more! I assume Owner / Service / Parts manuals will be money well spent.

Two short term issues:

1. When starting, I have to jiggle the shifter to get it to crank, assuming bad neutral sensor, is this typical?
2. Regardless of position of differental lock lever, she REALLY wants to go straight, front tires scuff. Assuming it is not really releasing the lock, is there a way to check, can I adjust the linkage?
