After much contemplation and even more shopping, I have put a deposit down on a 2014 gator 825. I am waiting for a loan to close before I pick it up, but hopefully in the next couple weeks.
The decision came down to a slightly used honda pioneer 700- 2 seater and the gator. While I liked the idea of a transmission of the pioneer, it felt a little underpowered and slow to find the proper gear. The bed also seemed a little small.
I shopped around until I was able to find the gator I wanted without too many add ons to make the price too high. I getting an olive and black 825 with top, windshield, and half doors(wife's request). I was able to take advantage of Deere's $700 rebate. I will add a winch and snow plow after I pick it up.
Speaking of snow plow, does anyone have the cycle country 72" on their gator? I won't be plowing anything but my drive, and do t want to drop a lot more $$ on a boss plow. I also like the quick attach/detach of the cycle country.
